Rubbish Removal

A skip bin alternative for Sydney homes

If you're weighing up a skip bin alternative, the main difference is who does the work. With a skip, you load it yourself and it sits on your property for the hire period, or on the street with a permit.

Step 1 of 2: Get your fixed quote

We'll send your quote here.

Start typing and pick your address, or type the street and suburb.

Photos (required)

Add at least 1 photo – 4 or more from different angles gets you the most accurate quote. Up to 8, 10MB each.

0 of 8 photos added.

With us, you send photos and get a fixed price. On the day we come, we load everything, sweep up and drive off with it.

  • Fully insured (public liability)
  • Fixed quote from photos
  • No deposit, pay once loaded

What's included

What you get

Included in your quote

  • All the carrying and lifting done by us, with a second person when the job needs it
  • A fixed price for the load in your photos, with no bin size to guess
  • Collection from inside the house, the backyard, the garage or upstairs
  • A sweep of the area once it's all on the truck

What we take

  • Mixed household junk and bagged rubbish
  • Furniture, mattresses and old appliances
  • Garden waste from a weekend cut-back
  • Light renovation leftovers like timber, fittings and packaging
  • Garage, shed and under-house clutter

What we can't take

What we don't take

  • Loads that are mainly soil, concrete, bricks or tiles, which are quoted separately or declined because of the 2-tonne payload
  • Rubbish that doesn't exist yet: we take what's there on the day, we can't wait for a project to finish
  • Asbestos, or anything that might contain it
  • Chemicals
  • Paint and solvents
  • Oils and fuels
  • Gas bottles
  • Liquids
  • Medical or clinical waste
  • Batteries in bulk
  • Anything else hazardous

For asbestos, please use a licensed asbestos removalist. For household chemicals, paint and gas bottles, use a Community Recycling Centre or a household chemical drop-off day.

Heavy materials (soil, concrete, bricks, tiles, rubble) are quoted separately because of our truck's 2-tonne payload, and some loads may need to be declined.

How a skip bin alternative quote works

A skip makes you pick a size before you know how much will go in. Our photo quote turns that around: you show us the actual pile and we price that load.

If you're still part-way through clearing out, finish gathering it first. One complete set of photos means one price and one visit.

Point out anything heavy, like broken pavers or bagged soil. For those, weight matters more than space on the truck.

Photos that help us quote

  • Everything that's going, in a few wide shots
  • Heavy material such as pavers, soil or old concrete
  • Items still inside the house or shed
  • Where the truck can park, and the path from there to the pile
  1. Step 1: Send photos

Snap a few photos of what needs to go, and tell us your suburb and when you'd like it gone.

  2. Step 2: Get a fixed quote

We'll confirm we've got your photos straight away, then send a fixed quote.

  3. Step 3: Approve and book

Happy with the price? We book the next available slot.

  4. Step 4: Gone the day we come

We load it all, sweep up and take it away. The price is fixed: you pay by card once it's loaded, or by a secure card payment link if you're not home. No deposit.

Prices include GST, labour, loading, tip fees and the NSW waste levy.

Skip bin prices and cost: what changes them

Skip bin prices vary a lot. The bin size, how long you keep it, what kind of waste goes in, and whether it needs a permit to sit on the street all change what you end up paying.

Our pricing works differently. There's no hire period and no permit, because nothing stays on your property. You get one fixed price from your photos, and it includes the labour and the tip fees.

The honest way to judge skip bin cost against ours is to get both prices for the same job and compare what each includes, including who does the loading.

When a skip suits better

A skip can be the right call for a long project filled over days or weeks, like a renovation where rubbish is created as you go. It sits there and you keep adding to it.

Jobs that are mostly heavy material, such as a big pile of soil or a broken-up slab, often suit a skip too, because our truck carries 2 tonnes at most.

FAQ

Skip bin alternative: common questions

Do I need a permit for your truck?

No. The truck parks only while we load, then leaves with the rubbish. Nothing stays on the street or your driveway.

What if I'm not sure how much rubbish there is?

That's the point of the photos. You don't guess a bin size. We look at the pile and price it, and if it needs more than one load, the quote says so.

Can I keep adding to the pile after you quote?

Yes, as long as you send updated photos before the day so the price is right. If there's more on site than we quoted for, we re-quote before loading.

Can you pick up from the backyard, or does it need to be at the kerb?

Anywhere on the property is fine. Unlike a skip, nothing has to be dragged to the front first. Show us where it is in the photos.
