Rubbish Removal

Rubbish removal prices in Sydney

Rubbish removal prices come down to a handful of things you can see in a photo: how much space the load takes in the truck, what it's made of, and how easy it is to reach.

Step 1 of 2: Get your fixed quote

We'll send your quote here.

Start typing and pick your address, or type the street and suburb.

Photos (required)

Add at least 1 photo – 4 or more from different angles gets you the most accurate quote. Up to 8, 10MB each.

0 of 8 photos added.

Instead of a price list that rarely matches a real job, we look at your photos and send one fixed quote for that load. This page explains what moves that number up or down, so the quote makes sense when it lands.

  • Fully insured (public liability)
  • Fixed quote from photos
  • No deposit, pay once loaded

What affects rubbish removal prices

The same five factors sit behind most waste removal prices, and every quote we send is built from them. Most loads only involve the first two.

How much space it takes in the truck

Volume is the biggest part of any rubbish removal cost. A load is priced by the share of the truck tray it fills, so bulky items that can't be stacked can take more room than a pile of bags.

What the rubbish is made of

Heavy materials like concrete, soil, bricks and tiles cost more to dispose of, and their weight counts against the truck's payload long before the tray looks full, so they're quoted separately.

Sorted metal, flattened cardboard and clean green waste, on the other hand, are cheaper to recycle than mixed rubbish, so tell us if your garden waste is already kept apart.

Access: stairs, long carries and parking

We carry everything out, so the route matters. Stairs, a long walk to the street, a lift that has to be booked or nowhere for the truck to stop all add time on the day.

Single items with special disposal

Some items can't go in with mixed rubbish. Mattresses are bulky and often recycled separately, fridges and freezers need their gas handled properly, and tyres usually carry their own disposal fee, so mention them and we'll confirm whether we can take them. Gas bottles are something we can't take at all; a Community Recycling Centre accepts them.

Dismantling

Anything that has to come apart before it fits through a doorway, like a bed frame or a trampoline, takes extra time. Tell us if something is built in or bolted down.

How we work out your quote

You send photos of the rubbish and the way out to the truck. We send back a fixed quote for that load. Once you approve it, we book the next available slot.

Prices include GST, labour, loading, tip fees and the NSW waste levy.

Heavy materials (soil, concrete, bricks, tiles, rubble) are quoted separately because of our truck's 2-tonne payload, and some loads may need to be declined.

Load sizes in plain English

You don't need to guess cubic metres. These are the sizes most jobs fall into:

A few items
A mattress, a couch, a fridge or a handful of boxes: a small corner of the truck.
A ute load
Roughly a ute or box trailer's worth: a room of furniture, or a spring clean of bags.
A garage-worth
A packed single garage or a full shed: shelving, old bikes, tins and boxes.
A whole house
A full clean-out after a move, a sale or an estate, which can mean more than one trip.

Rubbish removal or a skip bin: what affects the cost

Comparing junk removal cost with a skip bin is really comparing two kinds of work. With a skip, you do the loading yourself, and the bin sits on your property for the hire period. If it has to go on the street, the placement may need a permit.

With rubbish removal, we do the lifting and nothing is left on the driveway. Which one costs you less depends on how much there is, how heavy it is, whether you have the time and help to load it, and where a bin could go.

How to get the most accurate quote

  • Take clear photos from a few angles, standing back far enough to show the whole pile
  • Open cupboards, wardrobes and the shed door if their contents are going too
  • Photograph the way out (stairs, the lift, a side path) and say where the truck can park
  • Say what the materials are, especially anything heavy like soil, concrete, bricks or tiles
  • List anything with special disposal, such as mattresses, fridges or tyres

How booking works

  1. Step 1: Send photos

Snap a few photos of what needs to go, and tell us your suburb and when you'd like it gone.

  2. Step 2: Get a fixed quote

We'll confirm we've got your photos straight away, then send a fixed quote.

  3. Step 3: Approve and book

Happy with the price? We book the next available slot.

  4. Step 4: Gone the day we come

We load it all, sweep up and take it away. The price is fixed: you pay by card once it's loaded, or by a secure card payment link if you're not home. No deposit.

Prices include GST, labour, loading, tip fees and the NSW waste levy.

FAQ

Rubbish removal cost: common questions

How much does rubbish removal cost in Sydney?

It depends on how much space the load takes in the truck, what it's made of, how easy it is to carry out, and whether any items need special disposal. Rather than a guess, send a few photos and we'll reply with a fixed quote for your load.

Why don't you publish a price list?

Two loads that look the same size can cost very differently to dispose of once you factor in weight, materials and access. A fixed quote from your photos is more useful to you than a range that might not apply.

Is the quote the price I pay?

Yes, for the load in your photos. If what's on site is different from your photos, we re-quote before we load anything, and you can say no.

What's included in the price?

Prices include GST, labour, loading, tip fees and the NSW waste levy. We do all the lifting and sweep up once it's on the truck.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

No. The price is fixed. Payment is due once we finish loading, by card on the spot, or by a secure card payment link if you're not home. There's no deposit.
