Rubbish Removal

Garage clean-out across Sydney

A garage clean-out is usually years overdue by the time anyone books one. The car has been on the street since the boxes from the last move took its spot, and the shelves are holding tins, tools and a bike with two flat tyres.

Step 1 of 2: Get your fixed quote

We'll send your quote here.

Start typing and pick your address, or type the street and suburb.

Photos (required)

Add at least 1 photo – 4 or more from different angles gets you the most accurate quote. Up to 8, 10MB each.

0 of 8 photos added.

Send us photos of the space and we'll quote a fixed price to clear it. We load whatever you've marked to go, then sweep the floor.

  • Fully insured (public liability)
  • Fixed quote from photos
  • No deposit, pay once loaded

What's included

What you get

Included in your quote

  • Loading from the floor, the shelves and any rafter or loft storage
  • Dismantling freestanding shelving and workbenches that are going
  • Sweeping out the garage or shed once it's empty
  • Clearing a garden shed on the same visit if it's in the photos

What we take

  • Bikes, scooters, prams and outgrown toys
  • Old hand tools, broken power tools and drained mowers
  • Archive boxes, storage tubs and moving cartons
  • Timber offcuts, old doors and sheets of board
  • Freestanding shelves, workbenches and old cupboards
  • Camping gear, sports equipment and suitcases

What we can't take

What we don't take

  • Paint tins, pool chemicals, pesticides and solvents
  • Fuel cans, oil drums and mowers with fuel still in them
  • Car batteries and gas bottles
  • Old fibro sheeting that may contain asbestos
  • Asbestos, or anything that might contain it
  • Chemicals
  • Paint and solvents
  • Oils and fuels
  • Gas bottles
  • Liquids
  • Medical or clinical waste
  • Batteries in bulk
  • Anything else hazardous

For asbestos, please use a licensed asbestos removalist. For household chemicals, paint and gas bottles, use a Community Recycling Centre or a household chemical drop-off day.

Heavy materials (soil, concrete, bricks, tiles, rubble) are quoted separately because of our truck's 2-tonne payload, and some loads may need to be declined.

Fixed price from photos

What we need for a garage clean-out quote

Stand in the open roller door and take one photo that shows as much floor as you can. Then add a couple of the side walls, the shelves and anything stored overhead in the rafters.

Garages often hide leftovers from an old project, like a stack of bricks, pavers or tiles. Show those clearly, because they're quoted separately and the weight counts against our 2-tonne payload.

Photos that help us quote

  • The whole garage from the door
  • Shelving, walls and rafter or loft storage
  • Any bricks, pavers, tiles or other heavy leftovers
  • The shed too, if it's part of the job
  1. Step 1: Send photos

Snap a few photos of what needs to go, and tell us your suburb and when you'd like it gone.

  2. Step 2: Get a fixed quote

We'll confirm we've got your photos straight away, then send a fixed quote.

  3. Step 3: Approve and book

Happy with the price? We book the next available slot.

  4. Step 4: Gone the day we come

We load it all, sweep up and take it away. The price is fixed: you pay by card once it's loaded, or by a secure card payment link if you're not home. No deposit.

Prices include GST, labour, loading, tip fees and the NSW waste levy.

Sorting keep from go before we arrive

The job runs smoothly when the deciding is done beforehand. Go through with a roll of masking tape and mark what's staying, or push it all into one corner. We'll take the rest that's in your photos.

Paint, chemical and fuel tins can't go on the truck. Set them aside and take them to a Community Recycling Centre or a household chemical drop-off day.

  • Tape or a corner for everything that's staying
  • Chemical, paint and fuel tins put to one side
  • Mowers and trimmers drained of fuel and oil
  • Boxes checked for papers or photos worth keeping

FAQ

Garage clean-out: common questions

Do you do shed clean-outs as well?

Yes. A shed clean-out works the same way as a garage: photos of the inside, a fixed price, and we load it out. We clear the contents, not the shed itself.

Can you take the old lawnmower?

Yes, once the fuel and oil are drained. A mower with petrol in the tank can't go on the truck.

I don't know what's in half these boxes. Will you sort them?

We don't go through boxes for you. If you think there might be documents or photos worth saving, check before the day. Anything in the photos that's marked to go, we take as is.

Is garage rubbish removal different if the garage is under an apartment block?

Only in access. For garage rubbish removal in a basement car park, tell us about height limits, the security gate and where the truck can stop.

Can you take the shelving that's screwed to the wall?

Only once it's down. We take freestanding shelving as is, but anything fixed to the wall should be unscrewed before we arrive.
