Gone Today Rubbish Removal (ABN 68 412 702 258) is run by Evan as a sole trader. This policy explains, in plain English, what we collect when you ask for a quote, why, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Your name, mobile number and email address
- Your suburb, and your street address if you give it to us
- Photos of the rubbish you want removed
- Job details: when you'd like it gone, the type and rough size of the load, access notes and anything else you tell us
We also keep basic technical information (such as your IP address) with each request to help stop spam. Our website uses Vercel Analytics, which counts page visits without cookies and without identifying you.
Why we collect it
Only to quote your job, contact you about it, book it in and do the work. We don't sell your details, and we don't use them for marketing unless you ask us to.
Where it's stored
- Your request is emailed to us using SendGrid (Twilio) and kept in our business email inbox.
- Your photos are stored with Vercel Blob, a cloud storage service, at an unlisted, hard-to-guess web address.
These providers may store data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. We choose providers with strong security, but no online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
How long we keep it
We delete quote photos 12 months after we receive them. We keep quote and job emails for as long as we need them for the job, any follow-up, and our tax and business records.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted (including your photos) at any time. To do that, reply to any email we've sent you. We'll respond within 30 days.
If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
