Gordon: questions about access and loads
Strata says contractors must use the goods lift only. Is that okay?
That's what we'd use anyway. Book the goods lift for the agreed time, tell us where it comes out at ground level, and we'll load from there.
Can you collect from my Gordon unit and my parents' house in one booking?
Send photos and both addresses together. We'll quote the combined job, and if it fits in one load we do both stops in one trip.
Can you take a king-size bed base down from an upper floor?
Yes. If it won't fit in the lift whole, we can usually take it apart first. Include a photo of the base and mention the floor.
Does our building need to allocate the loading bay as well as the lift?
Usually the building manager hands out the bay with the lift booking. Ask for both together, then send us the time and any height limit for the bay.
